We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as an IT Support Specialist. The IT Support Specialist will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and support to our employees.
Responsibilities:
Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues promptly.
Log and track support requests using a ticketing system.
Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
Create and update documentation for common technical procedures.
Conduct user training sessions on IT-related matters.
Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Mac operating systems.
Familiarity with hardware components, software applications, and networking.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
Experience with IT ticketing systems.
Availability to provide on-call support, if needed.
